In the picture, we can see the Minister Pio Cabanillas and Fernando de Vilallonga, surrounded by the civil governor and the mayor of Girona, Mr Anguera and Mr de Ribot.

This visit took place as they were considering it as a possible location for a Parador Nacional, after the donation of Fernando de Vilallonga to the gipsy community of Girona, who used to live in shacks in the castle, of 400 homes in the Gironan district of Vilarroja, thus ending the slum issue in the city.
